Joseph Baldyga Obituary

Joseph E Baldyga, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at Holyoke Medical Center. Born September 29, 1936 in West Warren, MA, he was the son of Joseph and Mary (Krzynowek) Baldyga.His first job was at William E Wright & Co., West Warren and he then went on to a career in autobody repair, retiring from his own business of 20 years, Joe's Auto Body. He was a parishioner of Divine Mercy Parish. Joseph was proud of his Polish heritage and had a passion for Polish music. He loved to dance to the beat of the oberek melody, attending many polka band events over the years. Joseph will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years, Beverly, along with his sons Mark and his wife Carolyn Baldyga and Bruce Baldyga, all of Palmer. "GIJoe" will forever be missed by his grandchildren, Ryan(Chelsea) Baldyga and Amanda (Quintin) Ostrander of Palmer. He also leaves his siblings, Helen Roy and Frank Baldyga of Palmer and John (Jane) Baldyga of West Warren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Blanche, Sophie, Anne, Irene, Edward, Chester and Stephanie. The family would like to thank Fresenius Kidney Care of Palmer for their care and compassion to Joseph. Funeral services were privately held with Beers and Story Funeral Home, Palmer.

Remembering Joe back in the early 70s when we were neighbors in Palmer. He and Beverly were fun people and great neighbors. My condolences to the family.
