Nancy Parda Obituary

Nancy Ann Parda, a vibrant and unforgettable soul, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 9, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on February 6, 1954, Nancy grew up in Southington and Berlin, Connecticut, where her childhood was filled with laughter, family gatherings, and games with neighborhood friends. A graduate of Berlin High School and a debutante at the Polonaise Ball in New Britain, she continued her education at Tunxis Community College. Nancy later moved to Tampa, Florida, where she began a successful career as a loan officer. Eventually, she returned to Connecticut to raise her beloved son, Kendall Soliwoda, with the support of her loving family. A 15-year breast cancer survivor, Nancy embodied resilience and lived life with humor and joy. She delighted in cheering for the Yankees and New York Giants, playing blackjack at the casino, and sharing laughter with those around her. Her unintentional humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. Nancy is survived by her son Kendall Soliwoda and his wife Chante'll Kalinsky (McDaniel); her cherished grandsons Gavin and Bryson Soliwoda; her sister Claudia Divalentino (Soliwoda) and brother-in-law Ben Divalentino; as well as cousins, aunts, and uncles from the Carney and Bober families. She was predeceased by Theresa Soliwoda (Bober) and George Soliwoda. Nancy often joked about never wanting to live to be ancient, and true to her word, she departed this world without a single wrinkle. She embraced life fully and left it peacefully, just as she wished. May Nancy Ann Parda find eternal peace, and may her vibrant spirit remain forever in the hearts of all who knew her. We will be having a celebration of life in memory of Nancy on 1/25/2025. Location to be updated 1/20/2025.
