Patrick Karwowski Obituary
Patrick Karwowski, 33, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on August 10, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Monika (Rosnowska) Karwowski. Patrick was born in New Britain on March 27, 1992, son of Kazimierz and Danuta (Dziegielewska) Karwowski.
He grew up in Berlin and graduated from Berlin High School, Class of 2010 but spent much of his youth with his friends in New Britain. Patrick worked for the New Britain Water Dept., and most recently worked for Metropolitan District Commission of Connecticut, all while running his own trucking business and helping his parents excavation company. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Britain. In his free time, Patrick enjoyed the outdoors; whether camping, boating or family quad trips, he always prioritized quality time with family and friends. Wherever Pat went, he brought the party with him. Patrick was always available to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, son, grandson, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and brother-in-law. Taken away too soon, Patrick will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Along with his wife, Monika, and parents, Kazimierz and Danuta, Patrick is survived by his children, Gabriella and Dominik; his sister Jessica Szuba and her husband Brian; his paternal grandmother Zdzislawa Karwowska; and maternal grandparents Helena and Jerzy Dziegielewski. He is also survived by his in-laws Cezary and Miroslawa Rosnowski; sisters-in-law Ewa Baj and her husband Grzegorz, and Izabela Karwowski and her husband Wojciech; niece and nephews Natalia, Nathan, Kristopher, and Kevin; godfather Adam Karwowski and family; godmother Beata Gottner with family; a cousin that was like a brother Alex Karwowski and many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends both in the U.S. and in Poland.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patrick's family on Sunday, August 17th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Duksa Family Funeral Home at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 18th at 9:30 a.m.at Sacred Heart Church, 158 Broad St., New Britain. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. He will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
