Sandra Rodriguez

Sandra Rodriguez beloved daughter to Fernando Rodriguez Senior and Maria (Cora) Rodriguez, born in Waterbury, CT on February 21, 1970, passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 55. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and friend whose presence touched everyone around her. Sandra's greatest joy in life was her family. She leaves behind her beloved children, whom she loved more than anything in the world: Eric Zapata, Alexis Roderick, Kendrick Valencia, Carl Billings, and Demetrius Coote. She was endlessly proud of each of them and carried that love with her in every part of her life. Sandra also shared a deep bond with her brothers and with her sister and best friend, Maria Perez. Along with them, she leaves behind a large family filled with many nieces and nephews who adored her. Her family, along with her pets she cherished, were at the center of her heart. She had a true calling for childcare and dedicated many years of her life to teaching. Sandra worked at Saints Marry Child Development Center and later at the YMCA Child Development Center. Her passion for caring for and guiding children was one of the most beautiful and noticeable parts of who she was. She loved what she did, and the children and families she worked with loved her just as much in return. Sandra lived her life with genuine love-for her family, her friends, her work, and her pets. She cherished the moments she shared with those around her, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, care, and devotion. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her children, siblings, nieces, nephews, family, and all whose lives she touched.
