Shardaben Harshadbhai Patel

Shardaben Harshadbhai Patel passed peacefully at home on August 19, 2025 at the age of 91. She was born on August 7, 1934 in Mombasa, Kenya to Ambalal C. Patel and Dahigauri Patel and was one of three sisters (including her twin sister) and three brothers. In 1956, she married her beloved husband, the late Harshadbhai Jashbhai Patel, and raised three children. The family resettled to Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat and, in 1982, to the United States. Shardaben touched countless lives over her 91 years, leaving a lasting mark of those fortunate enough to have known her. Beneath her gentle 4'11" exterior, she was a force of nature and had an unwavering devotion to the people she loved most: her family. Shardaben is survived by her son and his wife; daughter and her husband; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
