Vincent Bertolini

Vincent Bertolini, 86, of North Haven passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22nd, 2025, at the Regency House, Wallingford with his family by his side. Born in West Haven on June 1, 1939, he was the son of the late Aldo and Anna Vitelli Bertolini. Growing up in West Haven, Vincent was a graduate of West Haven High School and later served his country faithfully in the US Army. He was a heavy machine operator with the Operating Engineers Union Local #478 for many years until his retirement. Vincent was a avid car enthusiast, working and rebuilding cars, and enjoyed going to numerous car shows with his cousins and friends. Most of all, Vincent enjoyed going to all his grandchildren's sporting events and loved each of them unconditionally. Father of Terri DePalma and her husband Robert, Janine Kozik and her husband Douglas. Loving and devoted grandfather to Richard DePalma and his fiancé Tori, Vincent DePalma, Gabriele, Lena and Douglas (DJ) Kozik, Jr. Brother of Rosanne Brunetti and her husband Nicholas. Also survived by his former wife Elizabeth Sprague. Predeceased by his brother Robert Bertolini. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Vincent's caregiver Lynda Baldwin and to all the nurses and staff at the Regency House for the excellent comfort and care they provided during these past few months. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday morning August 29th from 9:00 to 11:00 at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Vincent's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family
