Zbigniew Krajewski Obituary
Zbigniew Michal Krajewski, 73, of Enfield, beloved husband of Danuta (Wiszowata) Krajewska for 36 wonderful years, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at home surrounded by his devoted family.
He was born on July 15, 1952 in Jednorozec, Poland to the late Jadwiga (Lesinska) and Jan Krajewski. Zbigniew carried with him the strength, values, and traditions of his homeland when he immigrated to the United States in 1980, first settling in Hartford before making Enfield his permanent home. A hardworking and talented machinist, he spent many years at J & L Machine in Manchester, where he proudly crafted parts for the aerospace industry.
Zbigniew was a man of deep faith and a longtime parishioner of St. Cyril & Methodius Parish in Hartford. He found joy in life's simplest pleasures and had a true gift for gardening exhibiting a talented green thumb. His tulips and roses were his pride and joy with each blossom a reflection of his patience and care.
An avid traveler with his wife, he felt a lifelong pull back to his homeland of Poland, where he genuinely enjoyed strolling in the forest and being in nature. However, nothing compared to the joy he felt when surrounded by his grandchildren who will miss him dearly.
In addition to his beloved wife Danuta, Zbigniew leaves behind four cherished children: Daniel Krajewski and his wife Malgorzata of New Britain, Monika Krajewska and her husband Marcin of Poland, Anna Krajewska and her husband David of South Windsor, and Adam Krajewski and his wife Katelyn of Enfield; as well as his treasured grandchildren: Alex, Oscar, Mikolaj, Jakub, Adalyn, Helena, Roman-with great anticipation for another grandson soon to arrive. He is also survived by a loving sister, Elzbieta Matysiak, and two brothers, Krzysztof Krajewski and his wife Elzbieta, and Piotr Krajewski and his wife Beata; his sisters and brother-in-law Boguslawa and Miroslaw Kucharczyk, Maria Grabarczyk, and Danuta Wiszowata, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
