Stephanie Scott Obituary

Stephanie "Jill" Scott, 66, of Quincy, died at 11:50 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2018, at her home.

Jill was born Nov. 7, 1951, in Hannibal, Mo., the daughter of Kenneth and Lucille Ray Duncan.

Jill worked at Walmart since it opened in Quincy and helped open the first store. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved going to the boat and gambling. She also took trips to Las Vegas. Jill enjoyed reading, sewing and watching old TV shows, especially "I Love Lucy" and "The Andy Griffith Show."

Jill also was a music fan and liked going to concerts with her family.

She is survived by two children, Pat (Tamara) Scott and Kayla Scott of Quincy; three grandchildren, Garrett, Abbey and Alexis Scott, and their mother, Linda Scott, all of Quincy; numerous cousins and her Walmart crew.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, at Payson New Cemetery, Payson, with Chaplain James Riley conducting.

VISITATION: 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 30, at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.

MEMORIALS: Blessing Foundation for Hospice.

ARRANGEMENTS: Hansen-Spear Funeral Directors.
