Helen Parchesky Obituary

Helen R. (Zajac) Parchesky, 92, of Medway died April 29 in the Medway Country Manor. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Parchesky who died in 1972. Born in Medway September 7, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Kasavera (Wdvienkonska) Zajac, Mrs. Parchesky was a lifelong Medway resident. A homemaker, Helen had been a volunteer at the Medway V.F. W., she loved to shop and spend times with her friends. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Parchesky and his wife Nancy of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and John Parchesky and Cindy of Newton. She was the mother of the late James Parchesky. She was the sister of the late Julian Zajac and Jennie Lubinski. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jared, Amy and Lori and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nephew Bob Lubinski and her devoted niece Michelle Lubinski. Her funeral will be held on Friday May 2 from the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street Medway at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10:00. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-8. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.

Jack and Steve so sorry for your families loss. Helen was a loved resident of Medway Country Manor for quite awhile and we will miss her greatly , she was a great friend to many of us, staff members and residents.
