Janice Fanucci Obituary

Janice C. Fanucci, 82, of Boxborough, MA, formerly of Morgantown, WV, passed away on Thursday, May 13 at Emerson Hospital, Concord, MA. She was born in Nanticoke, PA on July 29, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Adam & Janine Layman Bavitz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome B. Fanucci. Surviving are her two brothers, Henry Bavitz of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Robert Bavitz, of Old Forge, PA, as well as sisters-in-law Irene Rinehimer of Glen Lyon, PA and Flora Simpson, of Gibbstown, NJ. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Fanucci of Boxborough, MA, her son, Jerry Fanucci and his wife, Mary Hosmer Fanucci of Lexington, MA, her former daughter-in-law, Marsha Fanucci of Winchester, MA, and five grandchildren, Kristina, Ben, and Abigail Fanucci, Adrian and Benjamin Fanucci-Kiss and two step-grandchildren, Mercedes and Anders Kiss of Alexandria, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Jerome B. Fanucci Scholarship at the WVU Foundation, One Waterfront Place, P.O. Box 1650, Morgantown, WV 26507-1650, St. Judes Childrens Hospital or the American Humane Society.
