Clifford Stowe Obituary

Retired Sales and Marketing Manager, Air Force Veteran Petaluma, CA: Clifford J. Stowe, age 96, died on the morning of May 9, 2018. He was the husband of the late Florence B. Stowe for 63 years and son of the late Huldah Beardsley and Martin Stowe. Mr. Stowe was born and raised in Waterbury, CT, where he attended local schools. He served for 3 years i Italy, France and Germany during World War II as staff sergeant in the Air Force. Following service, Mr. Stowe attended New Haven College and graduated from Bryant College, Providence, RI in 1949. He worked primarily in the plastics industry in production management and sales and marketing management positions, retiring from Foilmark, Inc. and moving to Brewster, MA in 1989. Following the death of his beloved wife in 2013, Cliff moved to Petaluma to live near his family. There he made wonderful friends, immersed himself in civic activities, and lived a full life until his passing. Mr. Stowe is survived by his daughter Amy Stowe Rainbow of Point Reyes Station, CA and his granddaughter, Shelly Eyre Graham, along with Shellys husband, David Bryan of Boulder Creek, CA. Surviving also are his brother Robert and his wife, Mila of Auburndale, Fl, as well as nieces and nephews. Mr. Stowe was a longtime volunteer driver for the Brewster, MA Council on Aging and the Meals on Wheels program. He was an active member of the Brewster Mens Coffee Club and a former member of Captains Golf Course. Services are private.
