Kalliopi Tsiougos Obituary

Kalliopi (Grontzos) Tsiougos, 90, of Framingham, died Friday, June 1, 2012, at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham. She was the wife of 50 years to Christos Tsiougos, who died in March 2003. Born in Kallepefke Larisa, Greece, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Stamati (Dodou) Grontzos. Mrs. Tsiougos is survived by two daughters, Stamati Pattas and her husband, Chris, of Framingham and Toula Ntasios of Framingham; four grandchildren, Arthur Ntasios and his wife, Katie, Chris Ntasios, Yianne Patta and his wife, Sophia, and Kalliopi Almeda and her husband, Helio; four great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Isabella Ntasios and Christiano and Thalia Almeda. She is also survived by her sisters, Athina, Maria, Vaso, Antigoni, Athasasia; her brother, Athanasios; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, both locally and in Greece. She was the mother-in-law of the late Nicko Ntasios. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Tuesday, June 5, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Demetrios Church, 57 Brown St. (off Rte. 30), Weston. Burial will follow in Edgell Grove Cemetery, Framingham. Visiting hours are Monday, June 4, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St., corner of Union Avenue, Framingham.
