Thomas G. Lucido Thomas Lucido ROTONDA WEST, FL Thomas G. Lucido of Rotonda West, FL, beloved life-partner of 36 years, Julie Williams, formerly of Danvers and Gloucester, MA, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Born in Gloucester, Tom was the son of the late Gasper and Rose (Piscitello) Lucido. He attended Gloucester schools, and was a graduate of Gloucester High. He worked for 33 years at National Grid and was the President and National Representative for Local 317. Tom was a humble and generous man, who was happiest when he was able to give of himself to others. He was the spark plug to the engine organizing and supporting many successful charitable events. His passion to cook for others brought him great joy and was affectionately known as Uncle Tom by many. Upon his retirement they relocated to southwestern Florida where he worked part time at the Cove Golf Course, quickly making many friends. In addition to Julie, he is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Mary and Craige McCoy, Salvatore and Janet Lucido, Joe and Joyce Lucido, Theresa and Robert Doyle and brother-in-law Larry McEachern. Tom also leaves behind many nieces and neph ews, who loved him dearly. Besides his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Sally Lucido, his sister Rosalie McEachern, nephews, Tim Lucido, Keith & Kevin Rose, along with Julies parents, Gordon, June and step-mother, Cynthia Williams. Toms Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish in St. Ann Church, 72 Pleasant St., Gloucester on Friday, March 9th at 10:00AM. A celebration of Toms life will immediately follow, at The Elks at Bass Rocks, 101 Atlantic Road, Gloucester, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lt. Col. Jack A. Lucido Memorial Scholarship Foundation, c/o Pete Lucido, 8 Railroad Avenue, Georgetown, MA 01833 or the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Avenue, Salem, MA 01970.
