Alexander Joseph Fedak 17 of Garden City Beach died Friday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Alex was born in Wheeling, WV the son of Jeffrey Joseph Fedak, Jr and Marie Orend Woodford. He was a student at St. James High School and formerly attended Wheeling Park High School in Wheeling, WV. He was employed by Miyabi's Steakhouse in Murrells Inlet.
Alex is survived by his Father of Garden City and his Mother of Shortcreek, WV, his maternal Grandpaprents Fred and Sally Orend of Bridgeport, OH; paternal Grandparents Jeff Fedak, Sr of Surfside Beach and Glenda Fedak of Orlando, FL; fraternal Great-Grandmother Charlotte Fedak of Surfside Beach; a brother Kevin Woodford Jr of Shortcreek, WV; and sisters Lauren Woodford and Angelina Woodford of Shortcreek WV.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 pm Monday, July 21, 2014 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558A Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC. Burial will be held in WV.

Alex, you will be greatly missed. Stay as happy in heaven as you were here on earth. Alex was one of the nicest kids I have ever met. He was one of my first friends here in South Carolina, as he was with everyone. You will forever remain in our hearts.

prayers to Alex's family. he will be missed a lot ! it's so sad that he was taken away from all of us. I have so many memories with him starting from elementary school clear up to freshman year. it just doesn't seem real. love you Alex fly high !
