Bruce Anderson Obituary

Bruce J. Anderson, 63, of Falmouth passed away on November 22nd, 2016 after a courageous struggle with cancer. Bruce grew up in Needham Mass, oldest brother of seven children of the late Peggy and Angus Anderson. He graduated from St. Bartholomews, Needham High and Babson College with a degree in business. For over forty years, across Eastern Massachusetts, he practiced all aspects of real estate and home construction. He attacked every kind of project with rare talent and unlimited industry. While juggling several house, boat and car projects, through ups and downs, Bruce forever expressed hilarious wit, practical genius and caring generosity. Besides projects, he enjoyed skiing, boating, fishing and just getting together. He shared both his suffering and his love in a deeply personal way that will forever keep us together. Bruce is survived by his loving partner Nancy Peterson, of East Falmouth, by his sisters Ellen Anderson, Marie Anderson--and her partner David Sides, Jean Anderson and Kate Olivier--and her husband Pierre, and by his brothers Jay Pasco-Anderson--and his wife Mindy, and Andrew Anderson--and his wife Jamie. He adored his nieces and nephews: Adam, Ben, Emily, Julia, Leigh, Kelsey, Julien and Luca. A Memorial Mass for Bruce will be held at 10 am on December 12th at St. Anthonys Church, 167 E. Falmouth Highway (Rte 28), East Falmouth. His cremated remains will be interred with his parents at St. Marys Cemetery in Needham when the forsythia bloom and the stripers run. Bruces family thanks the Hope Hospice McCarthy Care Center and Wingate at Brewster for their loving and professional care. Donations in Bruces memory may be made to the Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod. www.habitatcapecod.org Notes of comfort may be made to his family at www. MorrisOConnorBlute.com.

I just found out about Bruce's passing. I worked with him at the First National Supermarket in Needham when we were in high school. He was the major influence on my attending Babson College, where I met my wife and gave me a great career path. I am so sorry for your loss.
