Adam Salem Obituary
He was born on Nov. 7, 1963, in Montreal, Canada, and was the son of Faez and Hala Salem. Adam practiced dentistry in Canada until 1996 and then moved his family to New Hampshire to start Amoskeag Family Dentistry, a practice that was expanded to an urgent care practice, Urgent Dental Care.
He loved his patients as much as they loved him. He went above and beyond working long hours and helped many of his patients with their long term care. Dr. Salem loved his community and supported it. He was awarded the Key to the City of Manchester. He also enjoyed spending time on the water whether it was here in New Hampshire or Florida. He was an avid car collector and was the proud owner of a collection of the finest automobiles. Dr. Salem was always up for a challenge whether it was fishing, scuba diving, or driving around in his favorite convertible. Spending time with his family and five dogs was paramount in his life. He will be eternally loved and missed.
Adam is survived by his wife of 25 years Vicky Laflamme and two beloved daughters, Melina and Sarah Salem and his five loving dogs, two siblings, Riad Salem and Nadine Salem of Chicago, nieces and a nephew.

SERVICES: A gathering will be held Monday May 19, at Phaneuf Funeral Home at 243 Hanover St. from 6 to 8 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to New Horizon or any Animal Shelter of your choice.

Dr. Salem was an amazing dentist who worked with me over my fears of dentist's. He was also my friend and took the time needed every time to make sure I was ok and always asked about my family and told me about his girls. He was very proud of his daughters. I'm very saddened to have learned the passing of such a wonderful human being. I came to him with tooth pain and fear of dentists. He was a dream. He was so kind, comforting and there was never pain with him. He restored my faith in dentists. He will be truly missed. I made sure to thank him so many times for what he's done for me and so many other patients. He was the very best.

I am shocked to hear of DR. Salem's Passing. He was a wonderful and caring man. He made my smile beautiful again and was the only one willing to help. Such a tragic loss to the community and for his family and friens. He will be truly missed.
