Brian Atkins Obituary

ATKINS KERNERSVILLE - Brian Keith Atkins, 40, died Sunday August 24, 2008. A native of Forsyth County, Brian was the son of Leona Mae Osborne Atkins and Edward David Atkins who survive. He had coached Little League Baseball with Kernersville Little League and the YMCA since 1995. He loved life and his players, but most of all he loved his family. Survivors include his wife Joy Medley Atkins; daughter Kathryne Atkins; son Joshua Atkins; his parents; sister Kathy Kirby and her husband Joe; nephew Richard and niece Leeann; brother and sister in-law; mother and father in-law; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Gur Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the Atkins family at www.Pierce-JeffersonFuneralService.com. In lieu of flowers, contributions should be sent to RBC Bank, Atkins Children Family Trust, 823 S. Main Street, Kernersville, NC, 27284.
