Harvey Gene Thompson, 90, of Clemmons, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at his home. Mr. Thompson was born March 15, 1935, in Columbus County, to Oliver Ernest Thompson and Gracie Storms Thompson. Harvey served his country in the United States Air Force for four years and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Shelvie Young; his brother, Kenneth Harrell Thompson; and one nephew, Kent Young. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Salisbury National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1505 Lewisville Clemmons Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012.
