Lester Hogan

HOGAN YADKINVILLE - Lester Hogan of Wyo Road, Yadkinville, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Lester was born July 16, 1939, in Troy, to Earl and Bertha Kelly Hogan. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years and retired in 1977. He began a second career with Integon and retired in 2001 with 21 years service. He is survived by his son, Brian of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and his daughter, Rebecca Miller (Todd) of Mocksville. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Michael, Chaydyn and Trycyn Hogan of Victorville, Calif., as well as Jacob and Julie Miller of Mocksville. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Unit of Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center for their wonderful care of Lester.
