Edna Marie was born on October 13, 1927 in the Town of Calamus, Dodge County, WI, to Fred and Verena (Gut) Zemp. Her parents immigrated to the United States from Switzerland and Edna was fiercely proud of her Swiss heritage, as well as being a first generation American.

She was a wonderful cook and had the ability to recreate restaurant dishes totally by taste. Edna enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and sewing and made numerous afghans and dresses through the years. She was always up for a game of Swiss poker.

Edna had the artistic skill to decorate cakes for many special occasions. She enjoyed traveling to many destinations especially her trips to Switzerland.

Edna was a life-long member of St. Peter Catholic Church, currently St. Katharine Drexel Church.

Survivors include her four children: Linda (Cliff) Lentz of Markesan, Jim Multhauf of Fox Lake, Donna Multhauf of Hartford, and Mary Multhauf of Sheboygan; four grandchildren: Eric Lentz of Oak Ridge, TN, Joel (Julie) Lentz of Dane, Tracy (Craig) Thurston of Phoenix, AZ, and Adam (Liz) Lentz of Madison; three great-grandchildren: Molly, Noah, and Claire; four sisters: Rose (Jermaine) Schears of Beaver Dam, Doris Sabatke of Waunakee, Barbara (Peter) Schneck of Whitefish Bay, and Margaret (Larry Savage) Rechek of Minneapolis, MN; a sister-in-law, Eunice Zemp of Markesan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
