Rita Kohn Obituary
January 25, 1947 - April 18, 2025
Rita K. Kohn, 78, of Beaver Dam passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek.
Rita was born on January 25, 1947 in Portage of Clarence and Verla (Kiefer) Dolgner. She was a graduate of Pardeeville High School. Rita was married to Emrys Kohn on April 23, 1966 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pardeeville. Rita was a dedicated homemaker. She was a people-person who enjoyed baking for people, helping people with a ride, and being a waitress in Cambria. She was an avid Badger, Packer, and NASCAR fan. Rita always enjoyed a good Friday Fish Fry. Rita especially enjoyed being with her great grandson and following all his activities.
Rita is survived by her son, Kevin Kohn (Sue Sherman) of Arlington; granddaughter, Chelsey (Josh) Kircher; grandson, Cory Kohn; a very special great grandson, Cayden Kircher; her sister, Ramona Gleiter of Portage; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Emrys in 2015.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 5 p.m. Those attending are encouraged to wear Packer, Badger, or NASCAR clothing and please dress casually.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Rainbow Hospice Care Inpatient Center of Johnson Creek, DaVita Sun Prairie Dialysis, or the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
