I want to say:
He knew me longer than I knew him, but I am thankful that I got to spend the time I did with him. I seen what a caring and loving man he was :) very good sense of humor! He will be missed, but he is in a better place now. Much Love

I remember as a child, picking veggies in the garden and chasing a chicken around the yard for his supper. I remember his beagle he loved. I remember whenever we visited, the smell of something yummy baking in the oven and Grandma standing there in her apron and both of them smiling when we walked in the door. He's the only one that I allowed to still call me by my childhood nickname, "Kathy". It's been 10 years since I've seen my Grandpa when I visited for Grandma's funeral. I wish I could've had the money and chance to fly back to Wisconsin to spend some time with him. I'll miss him immensely until I see him again, with Grandma and Uncle Jerry. All my love...
