Michael Bialek-Gilliam

Michael Bialek-Gilliam, 31, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Wynn Hospital. Born on July 3, 1993, Michael was the son of Larry Gilliam, Sr., and Gloria (Rhames) Gilliam. He received his education in Rome, NY. Michael was employed at Pursuit Aerospace, Rome. He was a loving father, son, and uncle who cherished time spent with his daughters, nieces, nephews, and treasured family. Michael loved music and was also a sports enthusiast, especially enjoying basketball. He was very active on social media where he stayed up to date and in touch with his family and friends. Michael took pride in his physical being and enjoyed working out regularly. He is survived by his loving mother, Gloria Gilliam, maternal grandmother, Rebecca Dancy, daughters, Zayonna Ayer and Janaia Gilliam, siblings, Larry "Manny" Gilliam, Jr.(Conni Overstreet), Lameka Gilliam, Ebony Gilliam-Mann (Marcus Mann), and Remya Mathis along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephew, and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his father, Larry Gilliam, Sr., paternal grandmother, Claudia Gilliam, and brother, Jermaine Gilliam. Relatives and friends are invited and may come on Friday, October 4, 2024, from 12-2 p.m. at Greater Grace Church, Yorkville. Funeral services will commence at 2 p.m. immediately following visitation. Michael will be laid to rest privately, at the convenience of the family.
