Barbara Turner Obituary

Barbara L. (Casad) Turner, 91, formerly of Lebanon Indiana passed away at 12:20 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2025 at Mulberry Healthcare in Mulberry Indiana. Born July 14, 1934 in Lafayette, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Hester Sherlock Casad. Barbara married the late Gerald L. Turner on April 9, 1951 in Carrollton Kentucky. Prior to her retiring, she worked at the Arizona State University in Tucson as an accounts receivable assistant. Before losing her eyesight she enjoyed reading, sketching, painting, and drawing. Barbara was a history buff and she never missed a Colts football game. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, a son, Michael L. Turner, and a sister Janet (Casad) Walton, all of Lafayette. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the West Point Cemetery, West Point, Indiana, Hippensteel Funeral Home entrusted with care.
