Michael Guinn Obituary

Michael Guinn, age 70, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Born on November 27, 1954, in Lafayette, he was the son of Avery and Betty Jean Guinn. Michael graduated from Harrison High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army for eight and a half years. He later found a fulfilling career as a truck driver, a role he took great pride in. Outside of work, Michael had a passion for bowling and shooting, and was an active member of the VFW, where he formed lasting friendships with his fellow veterans. Michael's greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Kathleen, his two sons, Brandon (Jessica) and Jason (Tingting), and five cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Douglas, sister-in-law Jenny Shields, and brother-in-law David Leming. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Avery and Betty Jean Guinn. Family and friends are invited to gather for a time of visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Tippecanoe Funeral Chapel, 3631 Morehouse Road, West Lafayette, Indiana. A funeral service with military rites will follow at 12:00 p.m. Memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared with Michael's family at Tippecanoe Funeral Chapel's website.
