Armand Albert Benoit

1930 - 2015

HEMET, CA - Armand Albert Benoit born and raised in Woonsocket, RI passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Monday July 13. Armand was the youngest of three sons born to the late Ferdinand and Cecilia (Robarge) Benoit and now rests in peace with his two older brothers Rene and Roland Benoit.
He is survived by his children Ronald A Benoit and his wife Debbie of Hemet, CA. Michele R Vernola (Benoit) and her husband Nick of Mission Viejo, CA. Armand's eldest daughter Denise Judith Cardenas (Benoit) passed away on December 31, 2012 leaving her husband Dennis Cardenas of Beaumont, CA. as a survivor. Additionally he is survived by 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Armand was a graduate of St. Anne's School in 1945 and St Charles Academy in 1948.
Moving to California in the mid-fifties with his family, he began training as a machinist for North American Aircraft and then moved onto Hughes Aircraft Co. in Fullerton, CA. where he later retired on permanent disability.
A private Mass of the Celebration of Life was held in honor of Armand at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Hemet, CA. on Saturday July 25, 2015 for his immediate family and close friends.
