BELLINGHAM - Doris L. (St. Amant) Boucher, 87, of Bellingham, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday June 23, 2015. She was the beloved wife of the late George H. Boucher, Sr. Born in Woonsocket, RI on June 14, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Yvonne (Matte) St. Amant.
She is survived by her 8 children, Jeannette Godin and her husband Tom of Livingston, TX, Raymond Boucher of Denison, TX, Ronald Boucher and his wife Ahn of Oklahoma City, OK, Denise Gouin of Harrisville, RI, Jo-Ann Boucher of Milford, MA, George H. "Butch" Boucher, Jr. and his wife Rose of Bellingham, MA, Keith Boucher and his late wife Peggy of Oklahoma City, OK, and Brian Boucher of Bellingham, MA. She leaves her cherished 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Muriel Lambert of Woonsocket, RI, Shirley Barry of Woonsocket, RI, Constance Zompa of Narragansett, RI, and the late Roland St. Amant of Bellingham, MA.
Mrs. Boucher was a resident of Bellingham for over 50 years formerly of Woonsocket. She worked at A.T. Cross until retiring and previously worked at American Tourister, C. Ray Randall Company and Belisle Bakery.
She enjoyed shopping, playing cards, camping, and traveling. Most of all, she loved being with her family. "Mom. Always loved, never forgotten."
Funeral will be held on Friday, June 26th at 11:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30PM at All Saints Church, 323 Rathbun St., Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. Visiting hours are on Thursday, June 25th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home.
