Elaine Zajas Obituary
She was a loving and extremely devoted mother to her three children she is survived by: Steven Zajas of Providence, Brian Zajas of Pascoag and Cheryl Carroll of Greenville. She is also survived by her grandson Adam Carroll, her granddaughter Lia M J Zajas, her late brother Leo P. Godin of Woonsocket, and several nieces and nephews.
In her younger days, Elaine was an extremely talented seamstress who sewed countless complex custom drapery treatments for her late brothers interior design business, including the elaborate auditorium curtains for Tolman High School in Pawtucket. She was also the neighborhood go-to person for all their clothing alteration needs, as well as lovingly providing years of babysitting services to the children of numerous lifelong neighborhood friends.
Burial will be private and calling hours are respectfully omitted.

Dear Cheryl, Steven, Brian. Adam and Lisa,
I am truly sorry to hear of Elaine passing. She was the most kindness and caring person I have ever met. When she would go see your dad at the nursing home, she would also make time for all the patients there. Always a kind word to all of them. I will miss her and our telephone calls. I will keep her in my prayers and I am again, so sad to hear,
