Frances Parent

CUMBERLAND - Frances Parent, 95, passed away Thursday October 4, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert F. Parent. Born in Detroit, MI she was the daughter of the late Elias and Agnes (Madejewski) Szpak.
She was a resident of Cumberland for the past sixty three years, and was employed as a Spinner for the Sidney Blumenthal Textile Company of Cumberland. Mrs. Parent was also a bartender for the R.I. Pigeon Club of South Attleboro.
She is survived by one daughter Carol Bator of Pawtucket, three grandchildren, Kimberly, Joseph and Sadie, eight great-grandchildren, one brother William Szpak of Aiken S.C. She was the mother of the late Gail Parent.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday October 13, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Rhode Island Pigeon Club, Colvin Street South Attleboro.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Center 1085 North Main Street Providence R.I. 02904 would be greatly appreciated.
