My condolences to Nancy, Janice and David. I loved and admired Uncle Herbie. When I was younger and needed advice and help on various projects at my parents house, Uncle Herbie was always there for me. He advised, gave his opinion and physically helped on a lot of projects. The family homestead would not have been in such good condition without him.
Holiday evenings were always entertaining at our house. We talked politics, solved the problems of the world, joked and laughed a lot. Uncle Herbie always had a wise crack that started things off.
At christmas we always sang carols around the piano. The neighbors had a lot to put up with.
Singing is a large part of my memories. I will never forget the Tu Sum Club and all the rehersals we went to for the shows my father put on. The group may not have always been good, but they were always loud.
I'm so glad I was able to visit him a couple of times in Cumberland and then again with Nancy in New Hampshire.
He's a peace now with the rest of his family.
God bless you Uncle Herbie, I will miss you.

I will always remember my Uncle Herbie's sense of humor - he loved to laugh and make others laugh. And that he did, together with my Aunt Barbara and my parents, Ruth and Romeo Vellucci, with all the musicals that their church group, the Tu-Som Club, put on in the late 50's-early 60's. My sister Roberta and I, due to a lack of babysitters, got "dragged" to all the rehearsals on Friday nights. And now I have to say that I'm so happy that it worked out that way - we were the only kids in Providence that knew all the songs from My Fair Lady, Brigadoon and The Mikado! Thanks Uncle Herb, it was fun.

Our condolences to the Michel and Vellucci families and the friends of Herb Michel upon his passing. The Michels were an extended family to us whenever we saw them during the holidays at the residences of Romeo and Ruth Vellucci and Rico and Roberta DiNofrio. We always took part in enjoyable conversations with Herb and Barbara and we appreciated Herb's keen sense of humor.

My condolences to all. Herb and Barbara were good neighbors of ours in Cumberland for decades. I remember them fondly .
