James Clark Obituary

UXBRIDGE - James E. Clark, 90, of Uxbridge died Monday Jan. 29, 2018 in the Milford Regional Medical Center, Milford.
Mr. Clark was employed for 20 years at the Archer Rubber Co. in Milford. He previously worked for the former Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville and the former Bachman Uxbridge Worsted Co. in Uxbridge. He had served fulltime on the Millville Police Dept. for 10 years and as a volunteer for the Uxbridge Fire Dept.
A resident of Uxbridge for almost 40 years, he was born May 8, 1927 in Millville the son of the late Daniel and Mary (Howard) Clark.
Mr. Clark served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
James was a member of St. Mary's Church in Uxbridge where he served many years as an offering collector and usher.
James is survived by a niece Barbara A. Gunter of Millville and several grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Florence Stand and her husband Charles E. Stand, by a sister Frances E. Clark, and two nieces, Patricia Bacon and Nancy Lunt.
Visiting hours will be held Sat. February 3, 2018 from 10 - 11 AM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 480 Church St., Whitinsville followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home.
Burial with full Military Honors will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Providence Rd. (Rt. 122), Northbridge.
