Jean L. Benoit

WOONSOCKET - Jean L. (Lataille) Benoit, 70, of Casselberry, FL died April 24, 2016. She was the wife of the late Robert Benoit.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Leo and Dora (Lague) Lataille. She lived in Woonsocket for most of her life.
She worked as an administrator in real estate for many years. Jean always stayed active, enjoying sewing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Deschamps of Woonsocket, and Kenneth Deschamps of Homossasa, FL, two daughters, Kimberly Whitehead of Oviedo, FL, and Kathleen Matson of Bellingham, MA, two sisters, Jeanette Gendron of Woonsocket, and Barbara Gill of Uxbridge, MA, three step-sons, Jason Benoit of Millbury, MA, Christopher Lavoie of Worcester, MA, Donald Lavoie of TN, a step-daughter, Lisa Benoit of Woonsocket, twenty-one grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her four brothers, Arthur Clem, Lionel Lataille, Norman Lataille, Richard Lataille, and a sister, Shirley Parenteau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 11:15 AM in All Saints Community Church, 323 Rathbun Street, Woonsocket. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, Texas 75265-0309.
