I well remember the pre-1987 years, working with both
Joan and Georg, on the Chelan and Entiat Ranger

Dear Anne and Mikey,

We wish to express our sadness at the loss of your Mom. Our hearts are with you at this difficult time. I have many memories of Joan when she was young (actually, I used to babysit for her and Bobby and Karen when they were little). We enjoyed seeing her through the years when she would come to RI for a visit.

You've both done well, and your Mom was very proud of you. Please take good care of yourselves, and hopefully we'll see you again sometime in RI. Love, cousins Phyllis and Don

Anna, Michael & Georg; Joan loved her family more than anything. She would talk about memories, keeping those memories close to her heart and never wanted any of you to forget how much she lived for you and loved you. She was lucky to do some very special trips with both Anna & Michael. She will be missed by all.
