Maurice Lacourse Obituary
Maurice was an army veteran of World War II. He was an inspector for the former Corning Glass Co. of Central Falls for 43 years, retiring in 1985.
He is survived by his children Cecile Lacourse, Pauline Armfield and her husband James Armfield III, and Maurice Lacourse, his sister, Therese Gagnier, his grandchildren, Erik Armfield, Niki McDavitt, Kim Armfield, and Jessica Lacourse, and his great grandchildren, Shaylin, Devan, Arianna, Savannah, Alexander, Klark, Xavier, and Austin . He was the brother of the late Rose Benoit, Sister Cecile Lacourse, svsa, Lucie Raymond, Denis, Theodore, Paul, Gerard, and Joseph Lacourse.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 10am from the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Funeral Service at 11am in Saint Cecelia Church of Saint John Paul II Parish, Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4-7 pm in the funeral home. www.oneillfuneralhomes.com

Uncle Maurice was a kind, gentle soul. I remember Uncle Maurice and Aunt Rita taking me on vacation with their family, in New Hampshire.
He always had a garden and loved working in it.
I will miss him.
