BELLINGHAM - Michael J. Adam, 40 of Bellingham, MA passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 5, 2021. He is the husband of Kristin M. (Shepard) Adam. Born in Framingham, MA on June 25, 1981, he is the son of Robert E. and Deborah G. (Gadbois) Adam of Blackstone, MA. He leaves his brother Joseph R. Adam, of Blackstone, MA and his nephew Logan Adam. He is the stepfather of Nicholas J. Lavigne of Bellingham, MA and son-in law of Kathleen Shepard of Carver, MA. Michael leaves his beloved Shiba Inu, Emma and his best friend Adam Chubka of Blackstone, MA.

Michael grew up in Blackstone, MA and graduated from Blackstone Valley Tech Class of 1999 where he excelled in Machine Shop, then continued his education with classes at CCRI. He was passionate about his work as a machinist lead, in Aero Space Engineering, at NN, Inc. in Taunton, MA.

Michael was an excellent cook who enjoyed gardening, shooting shotguns and riding motorcycles. He loved anything with an engine, especially his Camaro, Honda Shadow, El Camino, AMC Eagle, & Meyers Manx Dune Buggy. The only thing Michael loved more, were his family & friends, by whom he will be greatly missed.

Visiting hours are on Monday, July 12th from 6PM to 8PM at Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 13th at 9:00AM from Cartier's Funeral Home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Paul's Church, 48 Saint Paul Street, Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of one's choice are greatly appreciated.
