Michael Coutu Obituary
Michael, a degreed electronics associate, has worked in various computer related fields throughout his career and was currently matriculated in a computer science degree program. He had a special bond with nature and all its glory and challenges.
He is survived by two daughters; Michaella L. Bacotti of Redwood, NY and Courtney Coutu of RI, a brother; Joseph A. Coutu of Smithfield, two sisters; Carol Coutu (Ethier) of Harmony and Ellen Hennessey of North Smithfield and two grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Paul J. Coutu.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at 11AM in St. Joseph's Church, 183 Sayles Ave., Pascoag. Inurnment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Burrillville. Calling hours are omitted in lieu of a Family and Friends Remembrance Event. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to The Appalachian Trail Conservancy, 799 Washington St., PO Box 807, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425-0807. Arrangements are under the direction of the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave. Pascoag.
