Pauline Yvonne Benoit

SIOUX FALLS, SD - Pauline Yvonne (Valois) Benoit, 90, passed away on November 21, 2020, daughter of Phileas and Yvonne (Brodeur) Valois, was born November 11, 1930 in Woonsocket, RI. Pauline grew up in Woonsocket, MA and was united in marriage with Albert Benoit on July 4, 1962 in Woonsocket. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Bellingham, MA where they lived for 42 years. Albert and Pauline then moved to Burnt Hills, NY for four years to be closer to Marc. They then moved to Sioux Falls, SD where they have made their home the past 13 years.

Pauline loved her Catholic faith, was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, and had a very special devotion to the Blessed Mother, especially the Rosary. She enjoyed dining out and thought that McDonald's had the best fillet of fish sandwich and that their tartar sauce was amazing. She enjoyed traveling, Scrabble, genealogy, visiting on the phone, and was always involved in Andres activities.

Survivors include her husband, Albert Benoit, Sioux Falls, SD; her children, Monique (Karl) Pardee, Sioux Falls, SD, Andre Benoit, Sioux Falls, SD, Marc (Jeanrae) Benoit, Burnt Hills, NY; grandchildren, Quiana Pardee, Giana Pardee, Adriana Pardee, Sarah Benoit; siblings, Lucille (Arthur) Forest, Woonsocket, RI, and Henri (Jacqueline) Valois, Sun City, FL.

Due to the pandemic, a Memorial Mass will be held in Sioux Falls, SD at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in the Spring of 2021 and will be Livestreamed so all can view the mass. Private family interment will take place at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham, MA on Tuesday December 15, 2020 under the direction of Cartier's Funeral Home, Bellingham, MA.
