Robert Pelland Obituary
He also leaves his nieces and nephews.
He was proud to be a lifelong resident of Bellingham. He was a graduate of Bellingham High School After his service during the Korean War in the United States Air Force, he then graduated from Bryant College. Robert was a proprietor in construction. He was a member and worked for 40 years with the Genealogical Society in Woonsocket. Robert will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Friday, May 26th at Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting time will be from 9AM to 10AM prior to Funeral Service at 10AM.
Burial will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.

I had the privilege of corresponding with Bob over a few decades, most of it was genealogy related, but we did share what was going on in our lives. We also spoke on the phone a few times. I was amazed how he could sound like any one of my Canadian relatives in French, but so utterly New England when speaking English. I met him in Woonsocket once and we shared a lot on the Pelland family tree - although truth be known we are more closely related on the Beaugrand side than the Pelland side.
