Sister Bernadette Marie
December 10, 2018
Brother Roger will always be remembered as one of the most genuine and caring teachers I ever encountered. I am now a Carmelite nun but never had the opportunity to tell him that his kind examples opened my heart to hear the call of God. I will soon be taking my final vows on 2/11/19. The community is rather small and so I pray for Father Roger's intercession that the order will endure. May he find comfort in God's ineffable goodness and love. He left us still a bit too young but he will never be forgotten. May he find eternal joy safely nestled in the arms of Mary gazing at the face of Christ. What a wonderful time to go home, Christmas. Love and prayers, Sister Bernadette Marie OCD RNP. Pray for me Brother Roger. I now have the community praying for you.

Rest In Peace, Brother Roger. I will always remember your religion class and seeing you around school in the subsequent years, always friendly and kind. I'm deeply saddened by MSC's loss of a wonderful and respected faculty member.

Brother Roger was a remarkable man. I would look forward to chatting with him before class. I would look forward to learning from him and laughing with him during class. And I would look for him in the crowd at home sports games, always cheering, always supporting. His was a voice you could always pick out, and a laugh you could never forget. To his family, my sincerest condolences. And to my teacher and my friend, rest in peace. You will be dearly missed.
