Ryan Sutcliffe Obituary
Ryan was a 2010 graduate of Cumberland High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2014, and was working towards his Master's Degree at Endicott College. Ryan was a financial analyst for State Street Corporation, Boston. He played softball in the Cumberland Men's League. Ryan was an avid sports fan who loved motocross and spending time with his friends.
Besides his parents Cooky and Karen, he leaves his brothers, Matthew D. and Spc. Kyle R. Sutcliffe of the United States Army, both of Cumberland; his maternal grandparents, Charles and Muriel (Rouette) LaFontaine of North Smithfield; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Clifford "Deacon" and Mary (Dalti) Sutcliffe, and his uncle, Kenneth Sutcliffe.
His funeral will be held Wednesday, August 17 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
