William P. Barrette

1948 - 2021

BELLINGHAM - William P. Barrette, 73, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, MA. Born in Woonsocket, RI on February 4, 1948, the son of the late William E. and Jeannine E. (Belanger) Barrette. He is the brother of Susan Carlisle and her husband, Daniel of Lyman, ME, Robert Barrette and his wife Shirley of Las Vegas, NV, Jeanine Johnson and her husband, Daniel of Las Vegas, NV, Patricia Desmarais and her husband, Marc of Blackstone, MA, Albert Barrette and his wife, Mary Lou of Franklin, MA, Doreen Frend and her husband, Richard of Blackstone, MA, Pauline Stoddard and her late husband, Steve of Bellingham, MA, Tina Hilditch of Milford, MA, and the late Debbie Stearns and her late husband, Alan. He leaves many nieces and nephews.

Bill was a longtime resident of Bellingham formerly of Woonsocket. He had worked at Porter Shoe in Milford and former Foster-Forbes Company, which became Saint-Gobain in Milford until retiring. Bill was a member of the Knights of Columbus Woonsocket Council Moylan Assembly.

He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bowling. Bill was very active in the Bellingham Senior Center. Bill will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 2nd at 11:00AM at Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Wrentham Rd., Bellingham. Visiting time from 10AM to 11AM prior to service.
