Very sorry to hear of the loss of a great teacher. I had Mr. Marrah for Woonsocket work and culture class in 1997, was always very friendly and talked about his experiences. My condolences to the family.

Dearest Dee,
There is not just one word in the English language but several that describe Bill as he resided at The Lighthouse at Lincoln. He was a fun loving life, full spirited man full of honesty and integrity from our first greeting to our last. Myself, fellow managers and staff associates will always cherish all tht we shared with Bill and especially remember your never ending love and devotion for Him.
May his love carry you at this time.
Bill is whole now conducting his class at the most highest level and is your guardian angel from above as you were his on earth.
In my thoughts and Prayers,
Sincerely,
Jodi DiRaimo

I had Mr Marrah as my history teacher in 1969. I remember him talking about the Cuban Missle Crisis . He thought for sure he was going to be called up for service but fortunately he never was. He was a great teacher and a great man. My sympathy to his family and also to his cousin, Suzanne Marrah, who was also my teacher in seventh grade in room 112.

Dee,
My deepest condolences to you and your family. Bill will always hold a special place in my heart. He was a joy to help care for. ALWAYS made everyone smile with a quick wink of those crystal, seablue eyes. I will truely miss him and his beautiful smile.
Treasured memories are so wonderful to have within ourselves Dee. I pray for you to have peace, knowing that Bill adored you to the moon and back. He was a lucky man to have you. And the children were so proud of their "Mr. Bill, I know that he will forever watch over them both.
GOD gave us 2 precious things...
A heart and a memory. Keep all those beautiful memories deep within your heart Dee, cherish them forever.
And when you feel that you need a little nudge of strength, just look up to the twinkling stars...
There is where you will see him looking down on you and the twinkling of the stars will be Bill winking at you my friend.
GOD BLESS YOU DEE AND THE CHILDREN.
You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
XOXO

My sincere condolences to his family. My memories of him are mostly from the early 70's at the old Woonsocket HS - he was my homeroom teacher and always fun to be around. I am sure he will be missed by many. God Bless his soul. May he rest in peace.
