Sally Pete

Sally Pete, 87, of Beloit, WI, died on Thursday, June 19. 2025 at Javon Bea Hospital, Rockford, IL surrounded by her family. She was born on September 3, 1937 in Blue River, WI, the daughter of Orville and Lucille Peer. Sally was a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School. She married James Pete on May 25, 1955 in Des Moines, IA. He predeceased her on October 23, 1990. Sally was employed by Beloit Memorial Hospital as a CNA in the labor & delivery department. She enjoyed being a caregiver and was always giving her time to care for others, whether it was her grandchildren or her neighbors, she was always there. Survivors include her children, Frank (Debra Lipke) Pete, Debbie (Norman) Geffers, Cindy Berry, James (Julie) Pete, and Sue (Jason Maynard) Pete; grandchildren, Nicholas (Stephanie Nauer) Pete, Holly (Alex Nelson) Hartley, Tony (Regina Roper) Geffers, Sarah Geffers, Autumn (Brady Ohlin) Pete, Alex (Noel Mattison) Pete, Jon (Jasmin) Pete-Skilling, Jakub (Grace) Pete, Joanina (Doug) Pete, and Braxton Maynard; great grandchildren, Levi Hartley, Logan Hartley, Abby (Austin Gehri) Geffers, Bella Jones, Douglas Weigelt, Jordan Weigelt, Hazel James Pete, Addy Pete, Kaiden Pete, Trenton Nauer, and Trey Nelson; one great-great grandson on the way, Ace Jones; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents and five siblings. A Celebration of Life will be held August 30th, 2025 from 1pm-5pm at Big Hills Park, Beloit, WI lower level. In honor of Sally, she had requested to wear blue jeans(pants or shorts) and a funny hat.
