Carolyn Guthrie Obituary
She was born August 19, 1938 to the late Loyd Lester Milton and LaEunice Alice Easter Milton in Saint Albans, WV. Also preceding in death is her husband, Robert L. Guthrie; and sisters, Jean Denson and Jo Ellen Hornbeck.
Carolyn worked as a clerk with BP Service Station, also AT&T, was a Girl Scout Leader from 1975-77 and Boy Scout Leader from 1975-79, a member of First Baptist Church of Hurricane, but her life revolved around her home and family once Scott and Robin were born.
Surviving her are her children, Scott Guthrie (Elizabeth) of Cary, NC and Robin Marshall (Michael) of Buffalo; sister, Barbara Milton of St. Albans; grandchildren, Brian Guthrie, Chelsea Marshall and Meredith Guthrie; and many other extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, March 17, 2025, at Bartlett-Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Losh officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans, WV.
Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
