Doris Sampson Obituary
Born on October 4, 1941 in Elkview, WV to the late James Albert Hayes and Lona G. Estep Hayes, she was the youngest and last remaining of 12 children.
She is survived by her loving daughters: Lisa Ashworth (Ken) of Hurricane, WV, and Jennifer Taylor (Aubrey) of Wheeling, WV; 2 sisters-in-law; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks for loving and caring nieces: Nancy Scott, Rondia Smith, and Donna Sue Statts.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024 with visitation at 1:00 pm and service at 2:00 pm at Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene, 3937 Teays Valley Rd, Hurricane, WV with Pastor Sonny Williams officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Hayes family plot of Sand Run Cemetery, Elkview, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Teays Valley Church of the Nazarene.
