DEAR Little Brother... I miss you daily as we sort our way thru life without you. Some days it is unbelievable that you are not just a phone call or text away. You left a hole in our hearts that no one can fill. Love you and miss you every single day. Your children are doing great. We strive to stay in touch and help them as we can. HUGS, LOVE & give the same to Derek... our hearts are broken, but accepting that both of you are with our heavenly Father and we will see you soon!!!! HUGS & LOVE!

I worked with and for Brian at Olin Flinchbaugh in Red Lion and he was such a wonderful,guy, hard worker, always appreciated our woke and effort and always at the end of our shift he would thank us for our hard work. I always remembered that about him. Always a smile on his face; he will be missed. My sympathy goes out to his family. Cherish the memories, I am sure there are so many.

Brian was an amazing person. He cared and gave so much of himself for others. He loved his children so much and was a wonderful provider and father to them. We remained good friends over the years and did whatever we needed to do together for our children. He definitely set the bar high as an example to all people as a father and friend. May you rest in peace Brian. My deepest love and sympathy to Nathan, Kory, Jessica and children and the entire Trout family.

My god bless Brian. He was such an inspiration to so many of us. Not only how he lived his life but how he handled his illness. Brian always cared for the other guy and was willing to go to any length. Brian was a brother to many of us and will be sorely missed. We will do our best to pass his message forward.

I only worked with Brian for a few months at (formerly) Baja Beach and what he taught me helped me at previous jobs as well as my current job. As I scrolled through these comments I saw one after another talking about always having a smile on his face and it's so true. Every time he walked through that door he was smiling. This completely took me by surprise and I'm sending love and prayers to his entire family.

I would see Brian at Palm Beach Tanning (Formerly Baja) and he always was smiling. He was very nice and friendly and I always thought more people should be like him. I was very sorry to hear of his passing. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Jessica, Nathan, & Kory, our hearts are full for you in the loss of your dad. We've know your dad for about 35 years, always found him a pleasure to be around and never found your dad say a mean word against anyone. I only knew Brian for a short time but he was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He sincerely cared about others, was honest and genuine. Brian told me once that everybody makes mistakes in life, not to hold grudges and always grant people a second chance.. He will be missed by so many.

After reading Brian's obituary he was a prime example of what God's children is to be. He was raised by wonderful parents and was surrounded by his loving children, siblings and friends. He will be greatly missed and never be forgotten. He lived his life to the fullest and never gave up. He always had a smile and a good outlook in life. Brian was a great example to follow, even through any flaws like we all have in our lives he had a positive attitude and didn't question why me and pressed forward till the end when he went home to be with his heavenly Father, till we all meet again RIP
