Lee and Eileen:
I cant tell you how sorry I am. Even when we know its coming there is really no way to ever prepare to say goodbye to someone we love so much and are so close to. Just hearing about what a great man he is though Im sure hes recieving his rewards in heaven....I have been lucky enough to have both of my parents still alive so i cant say i know how you feel but if its any comparison to losing a child or a friend I will tell you it will get easier....days turn into weeks that turn into months that turn into years and you dont know how you ever quite made it through but you did and when you look back on it thats when he'll be looking down on you....Remember life is not measured by the number of breaths you take its measured by the moments that take your breath away....I may not have all the knowledge in the world but I know what its like to hurt and grieve for someone and if I can do ANYTHING at all please let me know I love you.....

Eileen,
Please let Lee and his family know how sorry I am for their loss. My Mom will be 81 on July 18th and I see her health failing everyday. My Dad died one month shy of turning 80 and I believe he lived a full and happy life. We have to count our blessings for having shared their life for this long. My prayers will be with you and the family during this grieving time.
Take care,
Karen

My dad was a very proud, humble and private man. He loved the outdoors and he taught me a lot about hunting and fishing from a young age. Up until the time he actually passed away, he was still thinking about everyone else, rather than himself. I can still hear him ringing his bell, wanting everyone to come into the room, so he could remind us to go into the basement and take something home with us, that belonged to him. Even though he couldn’t eat food himself, near the end, he was always telling us to make sure and eat a “good meal”. He was good at giving orders from his bed, HA!!! I will really miss our time together, but even though he will no longer be with us physically, he will always be with us in “spirit” and he will “never be forgotten”. As I told him near the end, “we will all meet again”!!! I love you dad…. Your son, Leroy….

My Father-In-Law was one of the most amazing men I have ever had the blessing of knowing. He treated me as his daughter and I loved him like a father. Everyone loved him. He made it easy. We will truly miss him more than words can say.
