Myrtle Lippy Obituary

YORK Myrtle V. (Zepp) Lippy, 98, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Country Meadows Retirement Community, York. She was the loving wife of the late Paul R. Lippy. A funeral tribute service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Lippy was born April 19, 1909, in Union Township, a daughter of the late Clinton E. and Mae E. (Gobrecht) Zepp. She was a loving wife and mother who devoted her time to her family and home. For over 20 years she was an active member of Shiloh Evangelical Lutheran Church, York. Mrs. Lippy is survived by two sons, Robert E. Lippy and wife, Doris of Dallastown, and Harvey C. Lippy and wife, Karen of Dover; three grandchildren; four great-grandsons; and a brother, Clinton R. Zepp and wife, Jacqueline of Hanover. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Joan A. Burdette and Kathleen F. Schiding; a brother, Lawrence Zepp; and two sisters, Mildred Reaver and Helen G. Crook.
