Nevin Waltersdorff Obituary
Dover - Nevin R. Waltersdorff, 77, died on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at York Hospital. He was the wife of Judith E. (Eberly) Waltersdorff, to whom he was married for 58 years.
A celebration of life tribute service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Rd., York with Certified Celebrant Betty Frey officiating. Viewings will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday, both at the funeral home. Burial will be in New Fairview Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
Born on January 11, 1944 in Spry, he was a son of the late Merrin and Margaret (Shaffer) Waltersdorff. Nevin was the owner of Nevin R. Waltersdorff Electric for over 50 years.
Mr. Waltersdorff enjoyed baseball, especially attending York Revolution Games. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.
Along with his wife, Judy, Nevin leaves three sons, Ronald Waltersdorff of Dover, Brian Waltersdorff of Dover and Michael Waltersdorff of York; two daughters, Judy Knaub of York and Sandra Waltersdorff of York; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ed and Marlin; and two sisters, Dorothy and Ruth. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and David.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

So sorry to hear this. I rented from Nevin about 25 years ago and he was a very kind man. My thoughts are with his family at this time.

Nevin was a great man who achieved many successes both personally by being a wonderful, compassionate father and professionally by owning his successful electrical company and other business ventures. I am truly heartbroken for his family knowing how much he was loved and admired by them. May you rest in peace Nevin. You gave to so many and will be missed by everyone who had the honor of knowing you.
