Delphine V. Waltersdorff

Delphine V. (Witman) Waltersdorff, age 94, of Spring Grove, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital on December 24, 2025. She was the loving wife of the late Norman W. Waltersdorff, Jr. who passed away on May 31, 1998; together they shared 47 years of marriage.
Delphine was born in York, PA on June 24, 1931 and was the daughter of the late William and Annie R. (Luckenbaugh) Witman. She graduated from West York Area High School and worked as a secretary for Spring Grove Area School District as well as a school bus driver for many years. Delphine was a lifelong and dedicated member of St. (Peter's) Lischey's United Church of Christ in Spring Grove where she was a Sunday School teacher and member of the choir and altar guild. She also enjoyed gardening and baking.
Delphine is survived by her sons N. Daniel Waltersdorff and wife Trudy, Thomas W. Waltersdorff and wife Julie, and William M. Waltersdorff and wife Karla; her grandchildren Jonathan Waltersdorff and wife Michelle, Kristin James and husband Andrew, Joshua Waltersdorff and wife Megan, Matthew Waltersdorff and wife Jessica, Jessica Fuhrman and husband Jordan, and Billy Waltersdorff and wife Jordin; and her great-grandchildren Chloe, Brody, Anderson, Roman, Jacob, Colton, Lucas, Ava, Carson, Kylie, Raylinn, and Adelaide. She is also survived by her brothers William Witman and wife Delores and Edward Witman and wife Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Delphine's life will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 2:00PM at St. Peter's (Lischey's) United Church of Christ, 5671 Lischey's Church Rd., Spring Grove, PA 17362 with Rev. Cathy Sherry officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. Peter's (Lischey's) Church Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 1:00PM – 2:00PM prior to the service at St. Peter's (Lischey's) U.C.C.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Delphine's memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Peter's (Lischey's) United Church of Christ, 5671 Lischey's Church Rd., Spring Grove, PA 17362.
